The Yiza Ekhaya Soup Kitchen feeds, cares for and offers a safe place for around 200 - 250 children and adults on medication in the local community in Kayelitsha.

It was started by Mickey Winifred Linda, a 59 year old woman, who decided to give up her reliable salary as a domestic worker so she could help out in her community.
